I made great progress last month on my new trilogy/saga and banked almost 22,000 words.
Despite starting on a new three-book series this year, I will be writing a fourth book in the Detest-A-Pest series.
A new year brings a new three-book series. I’ve been working on the outline for far too long and now that 2020 is over I can really get down to business.
If you subscribe to my newsletter, you already know that I’ve been working on something different. Something young adult and supernatural / paranormal. In my typical style, it’s hard to define.
So I’ve gone and done it now. I’ve locked myself to a hard deadline.
After a comprehensive re-read and multipass check for errors and grammatical mistakes, Molerat 2.0 is off to the editor.
So I’ve done it again. I aim for a word count target and I overshoot it. But it’s not on purpose, I swear.
There were times when I didn’t think I would ever finish this book. But I did and it’s online right now.
Networking is a challenge for me. So when a reader contacted me to do a short question and answer session, I jumped at the chance.
Everyone should have a will. It makes the burden of death easier on a loved one. That goes double for writers, and all creatives. Without one, royalties for our creations are in jeopardy.
