Would you like to write a novel with James Patterson? It may be a once in a lifetime experience. If that appeals to you, read on.
James Patterson is a prolific author of both adult and children’s books. Since 1993, his bibliography totals 155 books. Part of the reason why he is so prolific is he co-authors many of his books. People take issue with that, saying Mr. Patterson is a brand instead of an author, but he is both. The way I see it, that doesn’t matter. If the book entertains and the author(s) are given proper credit, it’s all good. In fact, it could be argued that co-authoring a book with Mr. Patterson has helped jump-start other authors’ careers.
I wrote about taking James Patterson’s Masterclass back in October 2015. It’s a good, affordable, self-directed course, packed with good information. I recommend it.
If you’re thinking of entering the co-author contest, you need to be enrolled in the masterclass first. The contest is open to everyone over the age of 18 living in the United States and the District of Columbia, except for those living in Arizona and Louisiana. I’m not sure what those two states did to piss off the rest of the country. The contest is open for entries from February 16 through March 22, 2016.
I thought about entering, but I’m Canadian, so that’s instant ineligibility. No worries though. My plate is full.
Those who do enter, good luck!
