It’s only been the last decade or so that I have made writing a constant part of my life. Knowing how good it is for me, I wish I had started sooner.
It turns out that there have been multiple studies on the effect of writing on the human body, and that includes writing ON the human body, too, I’d imagine. 🙂 Any amount of writing, a few minutes a day, a couple of times per week works wonders.
It makes sense to me. When I go without writing for a while, I do not feel good. My world begins to close in a bit and I become an ornery old bastard. I don’t know what I’d do without it.
